S’more in a Jar Party Favor – Free Printable Label Included

Looking for a cute party favor that includes everyone’s favorite campfire treat? Try making this s’more in a jar project! 

These mason jar s’mores would be great gifts to give for a girls night, on Galentine’s Day, or as a housewarming present, too.

To make this easy party favor, follow the instructions below.

Fill the s’mores jars

  • Layer four plain graham crackers, 2 large marshmallows and 2 squares of chocolate in each of your Mason jars.
  • If your jar is large, you can double up on the s’mores ingredients.
  • Add a cork stopper to the top of each Mason jar.

Print out the label for the s’mores jars

This party favor tutorial comes with a free printable of 6 individual gift labels. You can print them at home on your computer printer!

  • Load the white card stock into your printer.
  • Print out the label here using the print function on your browser. This will give you a full sized sheet of labels. 
  • You can also print out the label in the project card at the bottom of the page for a smaller sized group of labels.

Attach the label to the s’mores party favors

  • Cut out the individual labels.
  • Use a hole punch to punch a hole in each gift tag label.
  • Tie a piece of white string around the jar mouth, threading it through the gift tag.
  • Cut the ¾ inch red striped ribbon to fit the neck of your jar and tie it over the top of the white string. My pieces were about a foot long each.

Materials

  • 6 large Mason jars or other wide mouth jars
  • 6 cork stoppers to fit the jars
  • Long piece of white string
  • ¾ inch wide red striped ribbon (cut into six pieces that are 1 foot long each)
  • 24 Graham style crackers or plain graham crackers
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 chocolate squares
  • 1 piece of medium weight card stock

Tools

  • Computer printer
  • Hole punch

Instructions

  1. Grab your jars and layer 4 Graham crackers, 2 large marshmallows and 2 squares of chocolate in each jar. If your jar is large, you can double up on the s’mores ingredients.
  2. Add a cork stopper to the top of each Mason jar.
  3. Load your printer with the medium-weight white card stock.
  4. Print out the label shown below the instructions.
  5. Cut out each label in the sheet.
  6. Use a hole punch to punch holes in the gift tag labels.
  7. Tie a piece of white string around the jar mouths, threading the string through each gift tag.
  8. Cut the red striped ribbons to fit the necks of your jar and tie it over the top of the white string. My red ribbon pieces ended up being about a foot long each.
