March is such a fun month to celebrate! Spring is finally here and St. Patrick’s Day gives us lots of reasons to party. if you are looking for March national days to enjoy, this monthly calendar breaks down the month of March into a day by day account of the national days that happen this month.  The calendar gives a quick look at the month so that you can honor the day with food, activities and decor ideas.  

March is the third month of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere, spring comes this month but in the Southern Hemisphere, it is actually the beginning of autumn. The name of the month comes from Mars, the Roman god of war.  Martius was also the first month of the earliest Roman Calendar.  There are lots of fun national days to celebrate in March. In the USA, March is National Nutrition Month, Music in our Schools Month and National Celery Month, among others. Birthstones for March are aquamarine and bloodstone, the flower is the daffodil and the zodiac sign is Pisces up to March 20 and Aries after that date.
