Printing instructions:

How to play this autumn memory game:

To play this fall matching game, follow the instructions below:

  • Shuffle all of the cards, and lay them picture side down, in a grid, on a flat surface.
  • Have the first player turn over two cards (one by one).
  • If those cards match, leave them face up, and take another turn. If they don’t match, turn them back over and give the next player a turn.
  • Keep flipping the cards over in this manner until all of the matches are revealed.
  • The player with the most matches in this autumn memory game wins!
  • If you have older kids who want make this a more challenging game, have them race against the clock to see how quickly they can solve this autumn matching game printable.

How to make the fall memory game cards

  1. Load heavy cardstock into your printer.
  2. Using the print function on this card will give you a printable free fall matching game that fills about ¾ of an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
  3. Choose portrait layout and if possible "fit to page" in your settings. Doing this will fill the entire page.
  4. Alternatively, you can get the fall matching game printable as a high resolution images using the print feature in your browser window with these links: fall memory game PDF (both pages) and fall matching game JPG (page 1 & page 2).
  5. After you print this autumn memory game, cut each image out, along the black lines. You will end up with 40 cards (20 matching pairs).
