Easter is not just for the kids with this yummy cocktail recipe.  This pretty drink is one that I call an Easter Midnight Kiss Cocktail.

It conjures up thoughts of a romantic evening for two before the fun of Easter egg hunts the next morning.

Fun adult time with this Easter midnight kiss cocktail

While the kids are romping around looking for Easter eggs would also be a good time to enjoy this drink. The candy rimmed glasses are the perfect adult match for Easter eggs!

I was shopping the other day and came upon this delightful marshmallow skewer. The delightful pastel colored marshmallows are so Eastery, don’t you think?

I found mine at TJ Maxx, but if your store doesn’t have them, they could be easily made with skewers and fancy marshmallows.

As soon as I saw it, I knew that some fun Easter drinks were destined to be in my future.A marshmallow skewer featuring colorful assorted marshmallows on a grey slate table.

I pulled off a pretty marshmallow and two of the Licorice Allsorts.

A quick cut with a pair of kitchen shears and some blue tipped cocktail sticks and my drink garnish is ready!A marshmallow allsort garnish for an Easter Cocktail.

I moistened the rims of two Champagne glasses with lemon and dipped them into some chopped up sprinkles.

The sprinkles go along with the licorice Allsorts and give the drink a fun Easter look. Two champagne flutes, one is right side up and one is upside down to dip the rim of the glasses in sprinkles.

Blue Curacao gives the pretty color to this Easter drink. It has a slightly bitter orange flavor and is used in other cocktails like the Blue Hawaiian and Blue Bird.

Lemons add a nice tang, as well!A pink bowl of lemons next to a plant in a grey watering can shaped pot on a counter.

They get added to vodka, and Champagne go in a cocktail shaker with some ice. If you don’t have Champagne, you can also substitute it with Prosecco.

Time to taste test!

The drink is tart from the Champagne and has a nice smooth finish from the vodka. Look at the pretty rims! Every sip gives you a bit of crunchy sweetness.Garnishing the glasses with sprinkles and a cocktail garnish made of marshmallows and licorice allsorts.

The only problem with this cocktail is that you might not remember where the Easter eggs have been hidden if you have too many! Two Easter midnight kiss cocktails to celebrate the holiday.
